Memory Errors in the Brain: Neurocognitive Mechanisms of Learning from Errors (ME-Brain)

The aim of this project is to investigate the cognitive and neural mechanisms that come into play for the correction of memory errors, with a special focus on the aging process to contribute to the development of scientific-based interventions to promote healthy aging. This project expects to advance knowledge through the study of populations at different stages of development (younger and older adults) and the combination of behavioral, correlational (EEG), and causal (neuromodulation) approaches for the study of the brain-cognition binomial in learning from errors.
