Our labs

Dynamic and innovative spaces where we explore the fascinating intersection between memory and language

The labs are equipped with several specialized rooms for behavioral testing, ensuring a controlled environment for conducting experiments and collecting data. Additionally, we have access to a variety of neuroimaging techniques facilities to support our research on mind, brain, and behavior.

Neuromodulation lab

Equipment for non-invasive brain stimulation - transcranial Direct Current Stimulation (tDCS) and transcranial Alternating Current Stimulation (tACS) - is available for the modulation of cortical activity via neuroConn DC-STIMULATOR PLUS.
fMRI

fMRI unit

The CIMCYC is equipped with a 3T Siemens MRI scanner. This is fully equipped with devices for audio and video projection, either back-projection or goggles, and collection of subject responses.
data analyses

Data analysis laboratory

We have a powerful desktop PCs with a wide range of software for neuroimaging data analysis, including SPM, STIM, Matlab, SPSS, R, EEGlab, ERPlab, etc.

Location

We are based at the Brain, Mind and Behavior Research Center (CIMCYC). By integrating neuroscience, psychology, and other related fields, CIMCYC aims to deepen our understanding of cognition, emotions, and mental processes, ultimately contributing to the improvement of human well-being and the development of innovative approaches in mental health research and interventions.
