Filip Andras

Former members

Filip is currently the Programmer & Behavioral Data Analyst at CIMCYC, working within the framework of the María de Maeztu Seal of Excellence recently awarded to the research center.

In parallel, he is pursuing a Ph.D. in Psychology (2020 – present), investigating the shared mechanisms between language processing and numerical cognition. Specifically, he is interested in whether global (holistic) and componential (analytical) mechanisms are shared between these two domains and what their neural substrate is. As part of his doctoral work, Filip had the pleasure of completing a research stay at the Donders Institute (Radboud University, Netherlands) under the supervision of Prof. Stephanie Forkel. His Ph.D. has been funded in part by an FPI scholarship.

He has a passion for all things related to statistical analysis and enjoys working with diverse datasets and learning new analytical techniques.
