Matias Bonilla

Visiting & Students

I hold a Licentiate degree in Psychology from the University of Buenos Aires (Argentina) and am currently a PhD candidate supported by a CONICET fellowship. My doctoral research focuses on the formation of false memories and their relationship with variables such as sleep, personality, age, and mood states. Broadly, my interests lie in understanding the cognitive and neural mechanisms underlying memory processes, as well as forensic procedures such as facial recognition and testimony taking, with a particular focus on how internal and contextual factors shape the accuracy of human memory.
